Voice calls from the browser
Turn on the voice button and visitors talk to the assistant straight from your site, with no phone number and no call setup on either side.
Visitors can send files
Images, PDF, Office documents, text, CSV and ZIP. The upload is handed to a human agent, so switch it on when someone is watching the inbox.
A human, in the same thread
The visitor asks for a person and the conversation moves to a live agent with the full history. When it is resolved or goes quiet, the assistant takes it back automatically.
Different text for logged-in users
Public visitors, logged-in customers and your own staff can each get their own title, greeting and button text, resolved from the page the widget sits on.
One widget, many languages
Author the title, greeting, button label and suggested questions per language. The embed's language attribute, or the page language, picks which one shows.
Locked to your domains
List the origins allowed to load the widget, sign logged-in sessions with a secret so a customer context cannot be faked, and keep bots out with the built-in challenge.
Frequently asked questions
- How do I install it?
- Copy the snippet from the panel and paste it into your site before the closing body tag. That is the whole installation, and changes you make in the panel take effect without touching the snippet again.
- Will it work on my site?
- Yes. It is a plain script tag, so WordPress, Shopify, Wix, a static site or your own React app all work the same way.
- Can I remove the TalkOmni badge?
- Yes, on the Pro plan and above, or with the white-label add-on. On lower plans the badge stays.
- Can visitors talk instead of type?
- Yes. With the voice button on, a visitor starts a browser voice call with the assistant, no phone number involved. It is an AI call and not a transfer to a person, so we recommend labelling the button as such.
- Can visitors send a photo or a document?
- Yes, when uploads are on. The file goes to a human agent in your inbox; the assistant does not read the file itself, so only turn it on if an agent is watching.
- Can one of my people take over?
- Yes. An agent takes the conversation over from your inbox, the assistant goes quiet so the customer never gets two answers, and it resumes automatically once the conversation is resolved or has been idle for a while.
